This changes the cell's hereditary properties, preventing the microorganism from multiplying. Simply put, microorganisms are killed.<\/p>\n<p>A microorganism is too small to be seen by the naked eye. This includes all single-celled organisms such as bacteria, fungi and viruses.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section id=\"block-9-6863889\" class=\"light\">\n<div class=\"container container-1\">\n<div class=\"row row-1\">\n<div class=\"col col-1\">\n<div class=\"box\">\n<div class=\"text-3 dark\">\n<p>A UV-C device contains a UV-C lamp. This lamp emits Ultra violet light. When algae are exposed to this light, they will die off immediately. So this prevents, or fixes the problem of a green pond. When the water flows past the UV light, all organisms are killed.
