General
- Deburring: Carefully remove burrs from plastic parts that are CNC cut from large plastic sheets, preparing them for assembly.
- Assembly: Assemble cut parts into ready-to-weld setups, ensuring a precise fit for waterproof integrity.
- Welding: Use specialised plastic smelting tools to join parts, focusing on achieving a waterproof seal. This process is critical and requires attention to detail and a steady hand.
- Reinforcement: Strengthen joins with a smelter and additional thick plastic wire, ensuring the durability and longevity of the product.
- Maintenance of Work Area: Utilize our newly invested strong lifter tables for an ergonomic work environment. These tables minimise the need for manual lifting, except for removing the finished product from the table.
This position operates on a weekly schedule where you will be welding for 4 days and assembling for 1 day, ensuring variety and focus on quality.
- Proven experience as a Plastic Welder or similar role, with a focus on product assembly and waterproofing techniques.
- Familiarity with CNC parts and the deburring process.
- Skill in using plastic welding and smelting tools.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly blueprints and schematics.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Physical ability to handle materials as needed, though heavy lifting is minimised.
